The Spyderco Always Ready Knife, ARK in short, is a compact and light-weight neck knife. The blade is made from Japanese H1 steel, which is corrosion resistant. Even in seawater, which is known to be an extremely corrosive medium. The carbon element in this metal was mostly replaced by nitrogen, and the final result is a great knife comparable to normal types of good-quality steel knives, which doesn’t rust. The handle is made from FRN and enhanced with Spyderco’s famous bi-directional grip pattern. You can carry the knife in the included plastic sheath, with the neck cord.
